Bangus Valley – Kashmir’s Hidden Highland

Bangus Valley is one of Kashmir’s most secluded and pristine landscapes, located in the Kupwara district near the Line of Control. Perched at an altitude of around 3,000 meters, the valley is divided into Bada Bangus (Big Bangus) and Chota Bangus (Small Bangus), both known for vast alpine meadows, wooden shepherd huts, and uninterrupted mountain horizons.
